  I M P O R T A N T   N O T I C E  

Unless you personally contact the HelpDesk with a problem you are having with your account, DO NOT provide your Network/Email login information to anyone. We do not request your password unless there is a problem with your account and you have initiated a request for help. If you replied to a recent email asking for your login credentials, it is very important that you change your password immediately.

 Coming July 13, 2009 - GMail for Students 

Your GVSU Student Google eMail account will become active on July 13, 2009 at 8a.m. This account will be used for all university student communication.

We will retain your current 'personal email account' on file in Banner Self Service where you can update it at anytime.

Your GMail account name will be your GVSU network-id@mail.gvsu.edu

If you are currently using the GVSU '@student.gvsu.edu' email account, you will still be assigned a new '@mail.gvsu.edu' email account. Your '@student.gvsu.edu' email account will remain active until July 13, 2010 so that you may manage your inbox, folders and address book as these will not be converted over to the new '@mail.gvsu.edu' account.
